5 hours from now I will have to wake up and go to the airport. I'm sooo tired now TBH. I'm forcing my eyes open. I was sitting on my luggage to force it to close. One bag isn't enough for me! I'm charging my phone and my MP3. I hope I've packed everything? So many things to remember. Everyone knows I cannot be trusted. NEVER never leave it to me to do something. I'll spoil everything. NEVER leave the parking ticket in my hands. Who knows? It may end up on the floor of the car park. AND YES IT REALLY DID. Oh, I hope my parents don't find this blog. Here you go. I hate holidays. I hate holidays. I hate holidays. I hate it so much. I hate it. I'd rather go back to school and listen to Chemistry for one hundred periods with everyone in class. Yes. As crazy as it sounds I hate holidays. It makes me miserable. You want to know what's next to school holidays on my Hate List? Dota. Yes. I hate Dota. It ruins peoples lives. Waste of time. Stupid. Idiotic. IT'S JUST A GAME. GAME GAME GAME. I have nothing else to say. Yes. That's it.
This is going to be my last post before I go off for 9 days. I don't know how I'm going to get through the next three weeks. I was looking forward to everything. I guess I've changed my mind. I hate holidays. Facebook zero is going to be my life saver!

I got a lot more. The Mercedes trench coat which is black in colour, Beverly Hills gloves [like the Queen aneh], socks and stuff. I got it cheap, I think? But still expensive la. Buy so many things for the trip, a bit not worth it lor.

Alopecia. Yes yes. Today's post is alllll about that. And how my hair is growing back. And for those who have it. ;)
I think there are a lot of people out there who has alopecia and is has no idea what is good for them, like me, a month ago, depressed, counting how many strands of precious hair you lose one day. Although mine isn't THAT bad, and my hair is still enough to cover up the 8 bald patches that they initially found on my head, I was still thinking about what I was going to do IF all my hair really fell out.
Alopecia areata is-according to the western doctors, an autoimmune disease where the white blood cells attacks the body's own hair follicles. After the attack, your hair may go into a resting phase and start dropping off. It starts from a small round patch somewhere on your scalp and may grow bigger. You may have a few patches after that, or it may stop in that spot and it'll go away by itself. It may occur anywhere in the body but the most obvious part is on your head. Some say emotional stress or anxiety triggered it. But I doubt it. According to western doctors, it is not contagious. It is not a terminal disease. It just makes people get more depressed or have social phobia because they have a fear of interacting with people due to the disease.
In my case, the dermatologist used steroid injetion, topical corticosteroids and anxiety pills to treat me. I just went for my first injection 3 weeks ago and my next appointment is tomorrow. As for the corticosteroids, I apply it on my scalp everynight before I sleep. But accoring to Wikipedia, Initial stages may be kept from increasing by applying topical corticosteroids. However, topical corticosteroids frequently fail to enter the skin deeply enough to affect the hair bulbs, which are the treatment target. Anxiety pills? Lexotan? Hmm.. Half tablet before sleep during examinations. That is it.
Besides that, I went for ayurvedic treatment. According to the ayurvedic doctor though, he says alopecia is contagious. He says its a microscopic bacteria that lives on your head. I went to search about it and I can only conclude that its ringworm. Anyway, he gave me a small bottle of stinky oil and asked me to apply it and leave it for one hour before washing everything off. Yes, the smell is unbearable but I still do it everyday with a showercap on. No pain , no gain.
I'm doing both at once and I find it effective. Change around if you don't think the treatment suits you. If it works, stick to it. If it burns a hole in your pocket, search for alternatives. I think there are so many things that work for different people. I had bad experiences too, just don't give up that easily.
And for those people who can't cope with socializing and going bald, it's not your fault. Think of cancer. How do people who go through chemotherapy cope with their lives? Same thing goes here. I THINK THE COMMUNITY AND PEOPLE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES to have standards for beauty, to discriminate bald people, to stare, look or make fun of them. They don't want to be pitied. They just want to fit in. Be nice. I once read this blogpost "Conventional Beauty Standards be Damned". Well said. summarizes everything I have to say.

My obsession with pigs.
I love pigs.
So i was watching Oprah just now and she was talking about healthy food! Food! Although i dont need a reminder on how much chickens n pigs are injected with antibiotics and growth hormones. When you think of it, how can you possibly eat it? To think that a little chick was born and injected a few times with growth hormones and goes to the slaughter chamber in about a few weeks for u to consume. A chick! How cute are chickens? I really dont need a reminder. I think if i see the whole process i might as well go on a vegetarian diet, not to say that's a bad idea, considering the fact that both my parents are vegetarians now.
It's not healthy for the chicken, nor is it healthy for you. KFC TORTURES THEIR CHICKENS! Oh sorry we were talking about growth hormones. We mature faster phisically compares to people 20 or 30 years back because of the food we eat. Do you know how scary is that? It's not healthy. We mature physically but not mentally. Imagine an 8 year old talking about Lady Gaga, having lip gloss on and handbags. Yes i have proof, btw.
KFC TORTURES THEIR CHICKENS BEFORE THEY KILL THEM. They electrocute them. They put them in enclosed areas which has barely enough space for them to move. The workers step on them. They inject them with growth hormones and make them grow at a very alarming rate to feed the CONSUMERS needs. How to solve this? Haha. Don't take KFC! Like meeeee! ;) i mean chickens only. So if you bring me to KFC i'll order wedges and coleslaw instead and i'm NOT on a diet that can kill myself.
I'm taking an apple a day! Although i sometimes take prunes instead of apples. Good stuff. Makes u smile in the toilet while doing ur bussiness :D. Awesome.
Lately there had been lots of speculations about McDonald's burgers and fries. I've stopped McDobalds for three weeks too! How awesome is that? Hehe. But that's because of the promise i made. Blah. STEWPID McD delivery agent damn lansi. Horrible horrible service in Malaysia. I called to complain.
Attitude is everything.
Anyway, i started this diet because of the problems i have. I hope i heal :D. I don't get why people with a healthy body can smoke their way to lung cancer or drink their way to liver cirrhosis. Please take care. ;)

A little bit of everything.

List of things i want to do before i die:
1. Help someone who has alopecia.
2. Travel the world, take awesome photos. THE WORLD.
3. Own a 3 carat diamond ring.
4. Do a job that i love.
5. Experience something spectacular, ie. Bungee jumping.
6. Expand my coin and notes collection.
7. Design my own room.
8. Experience the thrill of shooting. Targets, not people.
9. Learn how to skateboard.
10. Surf.
11. Go back to Australia. Perth to be exact.
12. Live elsewhere. Yes. Sorry, i'm not patriotic, sue me.
13. Major in Sciences or Biology.
14. Have a proper family with a loving husband.
15. Take care of my parents when they get old.
16. Be at peace with myself.
17. Learn to relax.
18. Learn meditation.
19. Go on a cruise to see the nortern lights.
20. Read as much as possible.
21. Fight for a cause.
22. Shave my head bald and question people if they look at me. Hahahaha this is getting out of place. I wont dare.
23. I shall continue when i'm free.
I need to remind myself why i'm pushing myself so hard this term. I think i see a ray of light now. Haha. Siao eh. Go heaven? Lol. I sort of lost my direction. Feel so down sometimes. Why do you have to study? Because i want to have good grades on my school report card and be proud of it. Because i want to go to a reputable university. Because i dont want to spend a single sen on my education next time. Because i dont want to spemd my parent's money anymore. Because i want to MAKE MY MOM PROUD! because i want what i want! Because i dont want to be looked down on. Because i want to stay in S1 next year. Because i want to be with my friends :-(. Because i dont want my mom to worry. Because i want a better living. But i dont think grades can determine that. Bill Gates failed every subject and he is now one of the richest man in the world and his classmate who passed everything now works for him. See? See? Because i want to help people when i grow up. Because i want to be able to donate money to the needy. Education can help my achieve all those? *shrugs*

Skin colour?
I was flipping channels on tv yesterday when i had the stinky oil on my hair for one hour yesterday and i saw this movie 'The Election Of Barack Obama'. Since there's nothing decent on tv nowadays i settled on that movie. I really support president Obama. I really do. And i salute him for getting through with that campaign and being able to come up with the concept 'CHANGE' that touched millions of american citizens. Lol. Yeah, it's been two years since that whole drama. But i wanna blog about it. This is my blog. :P not yours.
Although the Democrats isnt doing quite well lately. Well, you cant blame him right? The economy is so bad now. So it's mid term election now. And according to CNN this morning the Republicans are taking the lead. Lol. Ahh well, let's return to the election two years back. There was this footage in the movie where a guy, said 'I will not let a black be my president'. Oh shit. What?
And so, the spark of this blog post.
I still don't get racism. Stereotypes. Your skin colour means a lot to you? Come on. We're all human. Why do we have to put ourselves into different boxes by our skin colour, race or religion? This is the twenty first century we are talking about. Not the twentieth century or the nineteenth century. We are human. Civilised human. We can live in buildings, high class penthouses, eat with table manners but we cannot get over something so small as discrimination?
I am Asian. And i know people look down on Asians too. I came across this blog once where a girl who is part Asian, part ang moh, whichever country her parent was from insisting that she wasn't Asian and she was white. She, herself looks down on Asians too. So ho liao meh ang moh? China coming up already lah! Beat that! Hah! Lol. Although i don't like studying mandrin. Different story, back to topic.
Asians so what? Blacks so what? Ang moh so what? We don't have to kneel and kiss the floor when ang mohs walk past. We can be proud of who we are but BUT not look down on other people. Don't come and tell me Indians or Malays or blacks or bla bla bla. Hey, be civilised a bit la. We look down on other people, other people also look down on us too. Do you like that feeling of being insulted solely because of your race/religion? No right? So shut up. Thanks.
